DEFEND JOBS, PENSIONS AND AGREEMENTS - LONDON UNDERGROUND (LUL/14/2)

Further to my previous Circular (IR/288/22, 23rd December 2022), our Piccadilly & District West Branch and our Bakerloo Line Branch submitted resolutions regarding the imminent imposition of job cuts and worse rosters on Station Areas. Both Branches requested an overtime ban to fight back against the detrimental effect these cuts will have on members' work/life balance.

The Lead Officer also submitted a report regarding the above and the National Executive Committee has taken the decision to instruct all Station Grades members on the District Centre Cover Group not to work any overtime or rest day working from 00:01 hours on 29th January until 23:59 hours on Saturday 11th February and all Station Grades members on the Bakerloo South Cover Group not to work any overtime or rest day working from 00:01 hours on 29th January until 23:59 hours on Sunday 19th February 2023.

The National Executive Committee will consider this matter again next week and I will keep Branches advised of all further developments.
