Demo in support of Tube and Overground cleaners

Dear colleagues,

REMINDER: Demonstration in support of London Underground and Overground cleaners - 29 January, 1-2pm, opposite Old Palace Yard, Houses of Parliament SW1A 2BE

I'm writing to remind you that we will be holding a demonstration on Wednesday 29th, 1-2pm opposite Old Palace Yard, Houses of Parliament SW1A 2BE in support of our cleaners on London's Underground and Overground networks. We'll be calling on MPs to support our campaign to end privatisation of Tube cleaning and launching a new report titled 'Dirty Work: ABM and the outsourcing of London's Underground cleaners'.

I urge you to come and support our cleaning grade members at ABM and Vinci. These people need our solidarity. Our colleagues at ABM voted for action over their working conditions and were denied their right to strike by the Tory Anti-Trade Union Laws. We have a Labour Mayor, running for re-election, asking what he can do to improve the working conditions of transport workers. We need to tell him, in no uncertain terms, that it's more than time to end the scandal of outsourcing.
