♥unions week

From 8–14 February, the TUC will run a special week of action against the Trade Union Bill throughout England and Wales. It will showcase the amazing work unions do and tell the stories of ordinary members and reps. We want to get members involved in the campaign against the Trade Union Bill, tell positive union stories to the wider public and recruit new members to the union movement.

What is the week of action for?
The Tory government is attacking our ability to strike for better conditions and safety at work with their anti-strike 'trade union bill'. The Trade Union congress (TUC), with unions across the country will be focussing on fighting back against the bill, highlighted this week with the ♥unions campaign.  The week will be used by unions to highlight the vital work unions do, such as fighting for better pay for the lowest earners, for safrer workplaces and for dignity at work with improved conditions.
