‘A Better Deal for Polish Workers’

All trade unions, and unionlearn branches, in the Southern and Eastern Region of the TUC as well as statutory and voluntary sector providers have been invited to attend and run a stall.

The aim of the event is to introduce Polish workers to their rights at work and how trade unions and service providers can support and help them. Based on past experience that the FoP have had when running joint events with unions, we expect the event to attract hundreds of Polish workers. The majority of workers are likely to be non-unionised and likely to have a low awareness of what services are available and who does what so this is, therefore, an excellent opportunity for unions and service providers to introduce themselves together with materials to a large number of non-unionised workers.
