TUBE - CLEANERS - ABM CONTRACT DEMO OUTSIDE CITY HALL AND ABM OFFICES ON WEDNESDAY 21 FEBRUARY AT 2PM
At 2pm on Wednesday 21 February, we will be holding demos to protest against the treatment by outsourcing companies (especially new mega contractor ABM) of cleaners on the London transport network.
The first demo will take place outside City Hall (Address: The Queen's Walk, SE1 2AA) with participants then moving on to protest outside the nearby ABM headquarters (Address: George House, 75 - 83 Borough High Street, SE1 1NH).

Subject: BREACH OF MACHINERY – ISS (KAD CONTRACT)
We note the report from the Lead Officer and the resolve of our ISS members, and welcome the payment of hardship payments for the 2 sets of 2 days for our low paid members.
We instruct our members to take part in the following industrial action:
Strike Action
RMT cleaners, security staff and travel safe officers on Docklands Light Railway will be taking part in a further 48 hour phase of strike action from today over a comprehensive breakdown in industrial relations after talks failed this week due to the intransigent attitude of the management. The workers are employed by contractor ISS on the KAD contract.
The RMT NEC has unanimously passed the following resoul;ution.
London Transport Regional Council submits the following resolution:
“LTRC notes the work done by the Lead Officer, Cleaning Grades Committee, The Org Unit, Branches, Reps, Activists and Members in recruiting and organising cleaners on LUL

Not to book on for any shifts commencing 05:30hrs on Thursday 1st February 2018 to 05:29hrs on Saturday 3rd February 2018.
Action Short of a Strike
We instruct our members not to deviate from only working to current approved risk assessments from 05:30hrs on Monday 5th February 2018 to 05:29hrs on Saturday 10th February 2018.
