Please see the attached letter (below) that John Leach has received from the General Secretary calling for a meeting of Train Staff Representatives within 10 days to discuss the above as well as the situation on the Hammersmith & City and Piccadilly Lines.

This meeting will take place at 10.00 hours in the Boardroom, Unity House on Monday 31^st October.

We do not have agreement for your release to attend this meeting and so you are asked to make you own arrangements to ensure attendance if you can.

WORKING ARRANGEMENTS, NIGHT TUBE DRIVERS – LONDON UNDERGROUND

Thank you for your report dated 13 th October regarding an ASLE&F ballot for industrial action. This matter has been considered by the National Executive Committee, which has taken the following decision:-

“We note the report from the Lead Officer. We instruct the General Secretary to organise a meeting of Train Reps within the next 10 days, to discuss our response to the issues raised in the report and also the on-going disputes on the Hammersmith & City and Piccadilly Lines.

We also instruct the General Secretary to prepare a ballot matrix of Train Operators and Train Operator Trainers. 

Relevant Branches and LTRC to be informed”.
