Docklands Light railway Ballot Being Prepared

I recently received correspondence from our DLR Branch Secretary, advising that a vote was taken at a recent Branch meeting for a ballot for industrial action over numerous issues, including allocation of duties, understaffing and bullying affecting our members working for Keolis Amey Docklands on the DLR.

DLR Dispute Sees Low Earners Offered Minimum Rise of £750 A Year

Further to my previous Circular (IR/124/15, 14th May 2015), members are congratulated for their solidarity in returning a magnificent result in favour of taking strike action. This prompted some movement from KAD management and our RMT Reps recently attended a meeting with the Company where the following revised three year pay offer was tabled:-

Year One
A 2% pay increase, backdated to 1st January 2015 (including for allowances) and running to 31st March 2016.

DLR Cleaners To Strike For 48 Hours For Fair Pay

Docklands Light Railway Interserve staff to strike for 48 hours from tomorrow over an assault on pay and working conditions

After a vote of over 80% for action, transport union RMT has confirmed that staff working for notorious anti-union facilities company Interserve on Docklands Light Railway will strike from tomorrow for 48 hours in a dispute over an assault on pay and working conditions.
