RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE AND NIGHT TUBE – LONDON UNDERGROUND (LUL/0001)

Further to my previous Circular (IR/029/16, 5^th February 2016), the referendum papers in respect of the above were posted to all LUL members on Thursday 11^th February and the closing date is Tuesday 1^st March 2016. If any member has not received their voting paper, please ask them to call the Freephone Helpline number on 0800 376 3706 or e-mail info@rmt.org.uk so a replacement can be sent.

Following discussions, the National Executive Committee has taken the decision to RECOMMEND THAT MEMBERS VOTE ‘YES’ TO ACCEPT THE OFFER.

• The offer protects our existing agreements and no member can be forced to work night shifts where they don’t do so already
• Members are guaranteed a consolidated pay increase for the next four years
• Every Operational LUL member will be paid the £500 non-consolidated Night Tube payment upon implementation of the service
• LUL has no objection to any staff/grade working a compressed 4-day, 36-hour week
• Work/Life balance commitments given by LUL
