The following resolution submitted by the Finsbury Park Branch and amended by the LTRC Executive was carried unanimously at the Regional Council meeting on the 25th August:

The LTRC Region notes that management are imposing OSN 101 and “Sensitive edge procedures” are to be introduced on the “S” stock on subsurface lines against the advice and wishes of our representatives on the Trains Health and Safety Council. This regional council calls on the General Secretary to obtain a written asssurance that no disciplinary action will be taken against any of our members who fail to recognise these new procedures. If this is not forthcoming then this issue should be part of a campaign to remove unsafe procedures from the rulebook up to and including industrial action if necessary".
