Further ACAS talks planned, as tube bosses exaggerate claims of progress

POST-AGREEMENT JOINT INITIATIVES FOR TRAIN OPERATORS – LONDON UNDERGROUND (LUL/0004)

Further to my previous Circular (IR/368/17, 23rd August 2017), the Company was advised of the dispute situation regarding a failure to adhere to commitments made towards a better work life balance for LUL Train Staff and the first round of talks at ACAS have now taken place. This matter has been considered again by the National Executive Committee, which has noted a report from our Lead Officer and a letter from the Company regarding progress made at these talks which is somewhat exaggerated and includes claims which were not made during the ACAS talks.

The NEC has noted that further ACAS talks are due to take place during the week commencing Monday 4th September and I will keep Branches advised of all further developments.
