Branch meetings are held upstairs in the Blue Eyed Maid pub on Borough High Street, nearest Tube stations are London Bridge & Borough. Meetings start at 5pm.

Meetings dates in 2012 are

The branch's Annual General Meeting will be held on Monday 10 December and all branch officers will be elected for 2013.

RMT Young Members At Brussels 'Nationalisation Not privatisation' Demo

RMT Young Members marched with other transport workers in Brussels on the first anniversary of the European Commission's Transport White Paper, which orders states to surrender transport networks to corporate interests.

The Young Members who attended the conference created their own banner which as the photos below show, really stood out amongst the crowds.

Transport workers marched in Brussels on the first anniversary of the European Commission's Transport White Paper, which orders states to surrender transport networks to corporate interests.

The demonstration was attended by London Transport Regional Council members including Young Members.

RMTV: Save Our Railways, No to McNulty, Nationwide Budget "Day of Action"

To coincide with the 2012 budget, RMT called a nationwide day of action against changes proposed in the McNulty Report and the governments Rail Command Paper.

RMTv caught up with events at Waterloo station, a terminal for South West Trains who will be running an experimental operation to run both track maintenance and passenger train services.

As part of the years Educational events being organised for the Union’s Young Members we have received an invitation from our Irish Trade Union Brothers and Sisters for RMT Young Members to attend a weekend of educational and political activities to explore the life and celebrate the contribution the Irish Socialist and Trade Unionist Jim Connell (27 March 1852 – February 1929) made to our movement.
