Referendum of DLR members to be held

We note the offer from the company and congratulate our Docklands Light Railway Branch on achieving it through negotiations.

We instruct the General Secretary to hold a referendum of all Members with a recommendation to accept the offer.

DLR strike suspended as 'significant progress' made

RMT suspends strike action on Docklands Light Railway after significant progress in ACAS talks with the company.

RAIL UNION RMT has confirmed that scheduled strike action on Keolis Amey Docklands, due to start tomorrow and stretch across the weekend, has been suspended after significant progress has been made in talks with the company hosted by ACAS. The union remains in dispute.

All KAD members have been instructed not to book on for any shifts that commence between:-

04:00 hours on Friday 20th April 2018 and 03:59 hours on Tuesday 24th April 2018

RMT at ACAS for further talks today as industrial action looms on Docklands Light Railway this week

RAIL UNION RMT today confirmed that it will be attending further ACAS talks today with Keolis Amey Docklands as industrial action looms on Docklands Light Railway this week.

The latest talks follow extensive efforts by the union to resolve through ACAS the wide range of issues at the heart of the dispute that amount to a comprehensive breakdown in industrial relations on a number of important fronts including:

RMT confirms industrial action in two separate disputes on Docklands Light Railway

Following a magnificent ballot result returned by RMT members this week the union’s National Executive Committee has considered the matter and taken the decision to call on all staff to take strike action by not booking on for any shifts that commence between:-

  •  04:00 hours on Wednesday 21st March 2018 and 03:59 hours on Friday 23rd March 2018
  • 04:00 hours on Friday 20th April 2018 and 03:59 hours on Tuesday 24th April 2018

ISS DLR members to take further action against belligerent bosses

Subject: BREACH OF MACHINERY – ISS (KAD CONTRACT)

Our ISS members on the DLR KAD contract have taken firm strike action aimed at bringing the company to the negotiations table to resolve this issue; however ISS are belligerently refusing to come to terms with this union.

Therefore; given the lack of response by ISS management to the recent strike, we instruct our ISS members on the Docklands Light Railway: Strike Action
