Right to elect workplace representatives - Jubilee South Branch
This branch is disgusted with the attacks being made by management and the devious methods they are using to try not to recognise our rep for Stratford/North Greenwich depots.
Jason Moriarty, elected for this position by members of the branch, has refused to be recognised by LUL, despite him previously being the rep, and having had full recognition.

CLEANERS

Resolutions Carried At London Transport Regional Meeting September 2012

Arrest of RMT Assistant General Secretary Steve Hedley
This Region condemns the outrageous treatment by the police of Brother Hedley on the picket line at Kings Cfross over the cleaners strike.
The state oppression and abuse of our members human rights is intolerable. The attacks on working class rights has gone too far and we need to fight back.
We therefore ask the GGC to support a complaint and legal action against the police and to publicise this gross injustice

Repealing the 'Social Care Act'

Regional Council Resolution: The Importance Of Agreements

Submitted by Piccadilly and District West branch

We note that once again management have held private talks with another union concerning our train operator members. The RMT opposes their intention to introduce temporary arrangements for the Olympics outside of trains Framework Agreements and the P.T.O.A. particularly the intention to extend the 8 hour day at weekends which sets a dangerous precedent.
