RATES OF PAY & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2015 – INTERSERVE FACILITIES (KEOLIS AMEY DOCKLANDS CONTRACT) (DLR/0001/I(KAD))

Further to my previous Circular (IR/243/15, 13^th October 2015) the RMT negotiating team met the Company on Tuesday 22^nd December and a revised and improved offer was received which includes a payment to address the pay differentials, certain tasks to be performed by Security staff and a commitment from the Company to continue talks with RMT into 2016 to discuss any other matters of concern.

RAIL UNION RMT said today that staff across all grades on Keolis Amey Docklands Light Railway will strike on four occasions next year in a dispute over a range of serious unresolved issues that are wrecking industrial relations. The action follows a 48 hour strike on DLR last month which completely shut down the service for the duration.
 
The announcement of action comes after continuing talks have so far failed to make any serious progress. RMT members voted by 92% for action back in October.

LONDON UNDERGROUND DISPUTE
A Revised offer has been placed before us and will be discussed at a Reps meeting on Tuesday 1st December after which a report will be placed before the GGC.

An all grades ballot is being prepared and we need to build support for our victimised Brother.

DLR
Successful two day strike action was held between the 3rd and 5th November the first strike action ever held on DLR.

General Secretary Mick Cash said; "For a second day of this dispute on Docklands Light Railway RMT members remain united, determined and rock solid in their industrial action.

Strike action on the Docklands Light Railway has been rock solid today.  The action made headlines across the UK as RMT members fight a range of serious unresolved issues that are wrecking industrial relations. 

The Docklands Light Railway was all but shut down this morning as RMT members began 48 hours of strike action.  Workers on the DLR are taking action over a number of issues including misuse of agency workers, attempts at undermining workers with casualisation, a creeping culture of bullying and intimidation of staff and the breach of agreements.

Further to my previous Circular (IR/256/15, 22^nd October 2015), and following the magnificent ballot result in favour of taking industrial action, the General Grades Committee has considered this matter and taken the decision to instruct all Docklands Light Railway members NOT TO BOOK ON FOR SHIFTS THAT COMMENCE BETWEEN:-

RAIL UNION RMT said today that staff across all grades on Keolis Amey Docklands Light Railway will strike for 48 hours next week  in a dispute over a range of serious unresolved issues that are wrecking industrial relations.
 
The announcement of action comes after talks failed to make any serious progress following the confirmation of a massive 92% vote to strike by RMT members last week.
 

RAIL UNION RMT confirmed today that over 300 staff across all grades on Keolis Amey Docklands Light Railway have voted by massive majorities for both strike action and action short of a strike in a dispute over a range of serious unresolved issues that are wrecking industrial relations.
